About Us

Fieldgate was originally registered as a Nursing Home in the early 1970s

Over the years it evolved to medical and nursing demands, and since 2005 has offered comprehensive and individualised nursing care to clients over 50 years of age.

In addition, for those persons wishing to live within the support of a nursing presence, it also offers Care Only facilities, thus, whenever the occasion arises for nursing therapy there is no upheaval from the daily routine at Fieldgate.

Today, the Nursing Home takes pride in its celebrated standing implemented by the many positive recommendations from clients, relatives, friends, local General Practitioners and Social Services.

As a result of the 2010 re-registration process from one commission to another, Fieldgate is now registered for:

Accommodation for the older person who requires nursing or personal care; diagnostic and screening procedures; and treatment of disease, disorder or injury. To persons who may suffer with learning disabilities; mental health; physical disability; sensory impairment; dementia; and eating disorder.
